Those are snowflakes. Second week of April, we’re still getting fresh, new snowfall.

Round two: a hawk touched down near my office, so I got some shots with the binocular/ smartphone combo.

I held my smartphone up to a pair of binoculars and dramatically extended its zoom capability.
